Bring a little sunshine to someone's day

Do you know someone who needs a little bit of sunshine in their life? Thanks to the Cancer Council, you can brighten up their day with a big bunch of daffodils.

Over the next 25 days, Cancer Council will be sending out five bunches of 50 daffodils* every day as part of its new 'Facebunch' campaign.

To nominate your loved one, log onto the Daffodil Day Facebook page and tell the Cancer Council in 25 words or less why someone in your life deserves a bunch of flowers.

Five responses will be chosen every day, and their loved ones will receive beautiful flowers delivered to their door.

Celebrity chef Pete Evans is the face of this new initiative and is thrilled to be part of such a heart-warming campaign.

"Why not take the opportunity to say what you need to say, right now," he said. "You never know, you may make someone's day by sending them a beautiful bunch of daffodils straight to their door.

"I might even send one to Manu for being such a great sidekick!"
