To airbrush or not to airbrush? , The November cover has caused plenty of debate about airbrushing photographs. Many women have praised our decision to publish an all-natural image of the beautiful Sarah Murdoch, but we are the first to admit that it was easy with a picture that gorgeous.

Don Lane dead at 75 , Veteran entertainer Don Lane passed away yesterday, just shy of his 76th birthday. The TV host and funny man, who had been battling Alzheimer’s disease for many years, won the hearts of many Australians and became one of the country’s best entertainers.

Greetings from the Editor's chair ,

I have a dear friend who tells me she has kept every copy of The Australian Women’s Weekly since 1996. She revealed her devotion to The Weekly over a quiet glass of champagne to celebrate my transition from a Sydney newspaper to this much-loved magazine.

I wasn’t nervous then, just proud and excited, but in recent weeks, the significance of moving into the chair of Australia’s biggest-selling magazine has dawned on me. So, it is with some trepidation that I pen this, my first letter.
