INGREDIENTS

1 cup cornflakes
30g red glace cherries
½ cup sultanas
½ cup raw peanuts
80ml (1/3 cup) condensed milk
60g dark chocolate
METHOD

Combine in a bowl slightly-crushed cornflakes, finely-chopped cherries sultanas, peanuts and condensed milk, mix well. Line oven trays with grease greaseproof paper, dust lightly with flour. Drop teaspoonfuls on to oven trays. Bake at 180°C for 8 minutes or until edges begin to turn brown. Leave on trays to cool. Use spatula to remove when cold. Melt chopped chocolate in top of double saucepan over simmering water. Using a spatula, spread chocolate on base cooled biscuit. Mark wavy lines chocolate with a fork. Let chocolate set. Makes 24.
