Burgers with mustard mayonnaise
INGREDIENTS
500g beef mince
½ cup (40g) packaged seasoned stuffing mix
¼ cup (70ml) tomato sauce
¼ cup coarsely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
2 large white onions (400g), thinly sliced
4 hamburger buns
8 green oak leaf lettuce leaves
1 large tomato (220g), thinly sliced
1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
½ cup (150g) mayonnaise
METHOD
Combine mince, stuffing mix, sauce and parsley in medium bowl. Shape mixture into four patties.
Cook patties on heated oiled barbecue, uncovered, until browned and cooked through.
Meanwhile, cook onion on heated oiled barbecue plate until soft and browned.
Split buns in half. Place each half, cut-side down, onto barbecue; cook until lightly toasted.
Sandwich lettuce, tomato, patties, combined mustard and mayonnaise and onion between bun halves.
