½ cup caster sugar
1 green tea bag
1 punnet (120g) raspberries
1 punnet (110g) blueberries
1 punnet (220g) strawberries, hulled, halved

1 cup (250ml) cranberry juice
1 x 750ml bottle sweet champagne (muscato)

ice and mint sprigs to serve

METHOD

Combine water and sugar together in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sugar dissolves. Take off heat and add tea bag. Allow to stand for 15 minutes; squeeze tea bag and remove from water.

Place berries and watermelon into a 3 litre capacity jug, pour over green tea infusion.

Add lemonade, cranberry and champagne and stir.

Refrigerate for several hours or until well chilled and infused.

Serve in tall glasses on the rocks topped with mint if you like.

This is the most delicious punch recipe. If you don't want the alcohol, substitute the champagne with sparking grape juice.
Its not put thru a blender, you drink the liquid and eat the fruit. A punch generally containing fruit or fruit juice
I've always considered a punch to be a liquid drink. Have read the recipe several times and am still missing the part where the berries and watermelon are transformed into a liquid. Could someone end my confusion? Is the concoction put through a blender or not?
Well what else is there to say besides........YUM!
