Petit fillet mignon

There's nothing quite like a good steak to whet your appetite. Try a petit fillet mignon for a nice blend of meats and flavours.
INGREDIENTS

2 x 180g fillet steaks
4 rashers of bacon, trimmed
4 small bamboo skewers

garlic butter
40g butter, at room temperature
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
METHOD

To make garlic butter, combine all ingredients and mix well

Halve steaks across to make four steaks. Wrap each with a bacon rasher and secure with a bamboo skewer.

Heat a tablespoon of butter in a large frying pan over a medium/high heat. Cook steaks until browned all over and cooked as desired.

Serve steaks topped with extra garlic butter, if desired and your favourite vegetables.
