Question: My family is coming over for a hearty casserole. There will be 12 of us; can I simply triple my famous recipe, which normally serves four?

This is one of our most commonly asked questions, and there isn’t a straight yes or no answer. Most households don’t have large pots and pans, so large quantities of casseroles and the like tends to get pushed into the pan you’d usually use for making one quantity.
