The actor turned 49 on Sunday, but had not scheduled any celebrations because he had been working such long hours filming his new movie Rock of Ages.

Forty of the couple's closest friends attended the bash, which took place at Miami's exclusive Soho Beach House, the New York Post reports.

Guests were treated to an authentic Italian dinner, with Tom's favourite chocolate cake for dessert. After the meal, revellers took to the dance floor while a Cuban band played traditional music.
