Nicole Kidman will reportedly play Grace Kelly in a new movie about Monaco's most famous princess.
Nicole is said to be in negotiations to play the Oscar-winning actress in new film Grace of Monaco, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Like My Week with Marilyn, the film focuses on a specific time in the star's life in this case a six-month period in 1962 when Grace's husband Prince Rainier was arguing with French President Charles de Gaulle over Monaco's lax tax laws.
Grace was 33 and just five years into her new life as a princess at the time, but was said to be instrumental behind-the-scenes in helping bring an end to the hostilities.
The screenplay was written by Arash Amel and will be directed by Olivier Dahan, who helmed Edith Piaf biopic La Vie en Rose in 2008.
Grace and Rainier had three children, Princess Caroline, Prince Albert and Princess Stephanie. Grace died in a car accident in 1982 and Rainier was buried next to her when he died in 2005.
