They've only been married six months, but Rosie O'Donnell and her new wife Michelle Rounds are now the proud parents of a baby girl.
The comedienne announced she and Michelle had adopted on Twitter overnight.
"We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our daughter Dakota," she wrote.
Dakota was born on January 5 and People magazine reports the baby is "healthy and happy".
Rosie and Michelle decided to adopt after fertility treatment to get Michelle pregnant failed.
The couple met at a coffee shop in 2011 and married in a private ceremony last June.
Rosie, 50, has four other children, Blake, Vivienne, Parker and Chelsea, with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter.
Your say: Do you think 50 is too old to adopt?
