Adam D'Sylva
Fascinated by cooking from an early age, Adam honed his craft thanks to stints at Pearl Restaurant and Longrain in Melbourne before heading overseas to work in leading restaurants in Italy, Hong Kong and New York. He won the Good Food Guide's Young Chef of the Year in 2008 and has twice been awarded the Lexus Young Chef of the Year award.

Alastair McLeod
Based in Brisbane, Alastair's current focus is as executive chef at the award-winning Bretts Wharf on the Brisbane River. He is also a TV presenter on the popular Ready Steady Cook, and the Queensland Weekender and a radio regular. His love of all things culinary includes stints at Michelin-listed restaurants in Northern Ireland, Italy, Scotland and France.

Dominique Rizzo
As a chef, teacher and TV presenter, Dominique spreads her talents from running her Pure Food Cooking business to her role as resident chef at the Grass Tree Cooking School. She's also a regular on Ready Steady Cook, and on national radio and enjoys guest spots on The Circle and The 7pm Project. Dominique recently completed her first cookbook My Taste of Sicily featuring simple family recipes.

Ed Halmagyi
Fast Ed, as he's affectionately known, is a firm favourite with the dedicated followers of Better Homes and Gardens on TV and radio. As well as being a regular guest on ABC 702 local radio, Ed has also written two successful cookbooks and worked at some of Sydney's leading restaurants.

Ian Parmenter
Ian first appeared on the hugely popular Consuming Passions cooking show back in 1992. He went on to complete 450 shows that have screened in Australia, UK, Singapore and Ireland. He has also produced 11 recipe collections, written two 'serious' books and won a host of awards including the Australian Award for Literary Excellence. He is also a WA ambassador for the SAKGF.

In addition to running eight busy restaurants, Luke has written four best selling cookbooks as well as his recent autobiography The Making of a Chef. He appears regularly on a number of TV shows both here and internationally, and was recently presented with a Friend of Australia award from Tourism Australia.

Described as a culinary icon, Maggie's career highlights include her award winning restaurant, Pheasant Farm, her role as co-host of the ABC's The Cook and Chef and her seven cookbooks. It's little wonder she was awarded Senior Australian of the Year in 2010.

Considered the matriarch of Australian cooking, Margaret has been credited with changing the way Aussies eat. The Margaret Fulton Cookbook has sold a staggering 1.5 million copies — and counting! The National Trust nominated her as an Australian Living National Treasure and the Sydney Morning Herald has named her one of 25 Australians who have most changed the nation.

Pete's passion for food speaks for itself at his award winning restaurants Hugos in Kings Cross and Manly. He is well known from the successful show, My Kitchen Rules, Fresh and Fish plus his bestselling cookbooks. In addition, Pete also writes a monthly column for the Australian Women's Weekly.

Italian-born Stefano de Pieri's passion for Italian cooking combined with Mildura's bountiful local produce inspired him to write the book, Gondola on the Murray, later made into a highly acclaimed series by the ABC.
