Guess the famous model?

This gorgeous looking model is none other than Lindsay Lohan.

These promotional shots, taken for Fornarina's autumn/winter line, show the actress/singer turned model looking sexy and showing off her long legs.

Her face does seem usually freckle-free. Could she have had them airbrushed out?

Your say: Do you think these pictures have been airbrushed? Do you think the fashion industry overuse airbrushing? Tell us below...

I think that when you look at the magazine racks you will notice that they have all been airbrushed to the point of the people on them looking like cartoon characters. And then 'society' wonders why young girls are so *** themselves when it comes to self image.
Airbrushing has been around for how long now? It's not gonna just disappear. As a society we've come to expect airbrushed images, to the point that if we saw an image that hadn't been airbrushed, we'd wonder what was wrong with the person in the photo. It's as mainstream as stick figure models being used on catwalks. That probably won't change either. And on a side note, Lindsay looks good. Fake, but good. Just like any regular model who might have been used for the campaign would look. I think the red lipstick suits her, it's a different look and I like it. And in regards to Holla's comment, I'm not sure how we "fall short" of our ancestors in terms of striving for our best and looking good. We can't be permanently airbrushed 24-7. I'd say we're a pretty goodlooking generation actually.
To the writer of this initial blurb that accompanies the photos... You may be able to keep a job doing *** work and being dumb, but i hope you will at least know yourself that you are *** stupid. These pics could have been done with no airbrushing at all. The work in creating an image to appear 'unlike-real-life' here is in photography. Sure airbrushing is used massively, but in this case it is photography that has been used to create the washed out effect. Dumb *** people who want to comment (talking about the journalist or whoever wrote that initial blurb) on stuff and act like they know something when in fact they can't even think for themselves, and are probably sitting right in the middle of the bell curve in terms of intelligence. Sure, they ain't dumb, but they are average, and believe themselves to be somewhat intelligent because they scored a job writing *** articles that leach off other people (generally celebrities).
I think her freckles are gone because of the lighting and heavy make up. Check out those hair extentions!!! Wowa
I’m beginning to think that the fashion industry needs to act a little more responsibly... The power of advertising, which ultimately exploits our human desires, affects our perception of reality, thereby alienating people that don't measure up to that false reality (i.e. most of us). Just like cigarette and alcohol companies have had to modify their marketing behaviour (if not stop advertising all together) due to the impact on our health, so should the fashion industry modify how they advertise for the sake of our mental health. I understand that they too, like any business venture, need to sell their products however they need to do so with real people not these virtual images, after all they're selling their product to human beings, not cartoon characters.
Oh come on! Could you look any more plastic? Who's skin is naturally that paper white, glowing and flawless. She makes Barbie look positively fake tan orange. I agree with all the other comments. What is wrong with having freckles? Why must these unobtainable images of women be thrown around. Why can't girls (and guys) be happy with their own skin, their own individual quirks that make them them. I don't see why people want top be clones and attempt to follow this path like sheep to obtain this image. They are only going to fail anyway. Sure Lindsay, who doesnt actually look like herself, looks pretty, but true beauty is natural.
So what if it's airbrushed, she looks better than she usually looks, there's nothing wrong with wanting to improve one's self, who would want to look exactly the same everyday of their waking lives, your all hippocrites, any one of us would want to be airbrushed and look ten times better thatn what you do now. As long as it doesn't cost your health. i've had a lot of friends who have lost their boyfriends and loved ones due to not continuly improving themselves, in this day and age where a woman can do and be whatever she wants, we fall short of our ancestors who looked good and strived for the best always.
yeah yeah.. we know air brushing and fashion photography go together, but they are great shots even if it doesnt look like lindsey...she should stick to modelling...seems to be the thing shes best at...
no matter what you do to the pics you cannot hide the fact the poor girl is in need of a damn good meal, her own obvious self loathing is more of a concern than a few freckles
I agree that the pictures have been airbrushed, & I feel the technique has been well & truly "over-used". The world isn't perfect, nor are the people in it. To me, it is sad that women, including myself, feel "compared" to the photos in the media, on television etc. " to have no freckles is like having no stars in the sky".....
